How to Clean your Kitchen and Bathroom Organically with Vinegar and Baking Soda

Refrigerator Odors
Leave a small plate of baking soda in the fridge. After two weeks, replace the baking soda with some more. You can use the old baking soda for de-stinking your sink or other appliances.
Sink Odors

Trashcan Odors
When cleaning your trashcan, pour some baking soda in the bottom of the can. Put a cup of water into the bottom and swish it around. When you are finished, pour the mixture out and dry the bottom of the can. Leave baking soda on the bottom of the can to get rid of smells while you collect trash.

Showerheads
Leave the showerhead in a bowl of 1 cup vingar and 3 cups water for thirty minutes and rinse.
Faucets and Drains
Soak a rag in vinegar and wrap it around the faucets/drains. Leave on there for thirty minutes and rinse.
Cleaning Metal, Glass, and Toilets
Chrome
Rub with a mixture of baking soda and water. Rinse immediately.
Silver
Soak the items in boiling water with cream of tartar, baking soda and some foil. Let sit for fifteen minutes and rinse with warm water.
Brass
Make a paste with baking soda and water. You may add lemon juice for major stains. Rub onto the brass and let sit for thirty minutes. Rinse with water.
Glass
You may have some glass vases that are hard to get your hand in. Crush up eggshells and mix with water and baking soda to make a watery solution. Leave in the glass overnight and rinse in the morning.
China or Porcelain
Stains in cups can be disgusting to look at. Mix baking powder and water to form a watery solution and leave it in the cup until the stain fades away. If it is a dark stain, use vinegar instead of water (but be careful).
Getting Rid of Rust
Cut a potato in half and dip the cut side into some baking soda. Rub it over the rusted item and rinse with cold water. To prevent rust in the future, rub the item with olive oil.
Toilet Bowl Stains
Spray some vinegar onto the stain and scrub with a toilet scrubber. Leave overnight if needed.

Mildew can be found on shower curtains or other areas exposed to water. Make a paste with baking soda and water and rub it on the mildew area. Leave it overnight and rinse with water in the morning.
